Twitter has ‘Suggestions For You’
The amount of people using Twitter is growing ever larger and more impressive. But that brings its own problems, problems Twitter is now trying to solve.
More than 100 million people now use Twitter regularly, which is great. It means more people to follow, many of which will be interesting or in tune with your individual needs and wants. But finding those people worth following can be tough. So much so it feels more like luck than anything else at times. And is only going to get tougher as the numbers involved grow.
Thankfully, Twitter has a plan. It has today rolled out “a simple, but powerful new feature” descriptively called ‘Suggestions For You‘. As you might expect this feature makes suggestions to each individual user about the people they should be following in order to gain the most out of Twitter.
This was an absolute must for Twitter to implement at this stage, and it’s therefore most welcome. Let’s just hope it delivers as it should do.
