I’ve been searching some time for a device that will stream media on my television from my wireless network. The Sony SMP-N100 Network Media Player recently caught my eye as a serious contender. Given the awesome features promised, combined with the recent price drop, I simply couldn’t resist purchasing this device.

The House, today, has voted to keep the 2007 Better Use of Light Bulbs (BULB) Act which will set restrictions on the efficiency of light bulbs starting January 1, 2012, requiring that they be 25-30 percent more efficient than traditional incandescent bulbs.

NASA’s space probe, LCROSS, intentionally crashed into the south pole of the moon around 7:30 am EDT this morning in hopes to retrieve data from the dust and particles that were kicked up from the event.

Chemical substance abuse among bloggers has recently become a growing concern in the blogosphere; we’ve all seen their intoxicated-posts, using late 90′s buzzwords while prefixing every other word with a noun-like adjective. A small Australian company, SoBlog , has come to the rescue with a new device expected to hit the market in Spring of next year.

Stickam, a social networking site that places emphasis on chatting with friends by means of a webcam, states in its Terms of Service (TOS) that it retains the right to “monitor the content of any messaging that occurs on or through the instant message service;” however, it may come as a shock to learn that they regularly do monitor the webcam chats, including private, friend-to-friend chats.
