YouTube has announced it will offer automated video captioning for clips. It will serve as an accessibility tool for hard-of-hearing viewers, but could also make clips easier to find.

Sony and Netflix recently announced that Netflix’s streaming Watch Instantly service would be coming to the PS3. The service is now here as Netflix is sending out discs to those interested in accessing the company’s instant streaming service. The service can be accessed for free on the PS3 with the Netflix disc and plan.

Netflix recently announced that its streaming movie service will be heading to an existing CE device out on the market. Currently, it looks like Sony’s PS3 device might be the most likely candidate for this service. Since Sony has been investing heavily in its own movie service on the PS3, will it be able to complete with Netflix?
