Sheep's wool insulation is green No not the color green but the renewable resource green.  Like cellulose and cotton insulation, sheep’s wool is a renewable resource with a twist.  Cellulose insulation recycles paper and cotton insulation recycles the bits of blue jean material that would normally be tossed in the trash.  Sheep’s wool insulation is naturally renewable because sheep grow new coats yearly.

Community Cars' Kenguru give the mobility impaired a way to driveThe Kenguru is a small neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV) that has been modified so that people in wheelchairs can easily enter and drive it.  It’s top speed is 25 mph and it will go 60 miles on a charge.  It won’t challenge a Tesla Roadster but it will provide independence for a lot of people who have had to rely on others.

Data Servers used by WikimediaData centers give off heat, a lot of it.  At least half the cost of a data center is the cost to cool the servers.  With all of that heat going to waste, researchers at the University of Virginia and Microsoft Research wrote a paper suggesting that data centers broken down into data furnaces would make great whole house heaters and still save corporations money.

Are flexible phones/eReaders/tablets really the next big thingManufacturers have been working on flexible displays for eReaders, tablets, and phones for at least six years now.  There have been foldable or rollable eReaders or phones promised at various different technology conferences but these devices have never made it to market.  Now companies like Polymer Vision, Human Media Lab and Bridgestone are showing off new technologies that they claim will be available within the next year or two.
