According to the consumer product testing group, the LG Thrill is one the best smartphones on the market today, because it “has the ability to capture stills and videos in 3D, as well as display them…” Seriously, 3D? Of all the failed technologies — it’s a reason to buy an Android from a failing handset maker.

Google’s Chairman called Siri a “competitive threat” to its search business. Of course, this comment was made to the U.S. Senate Antitrust Subcommittee but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a grain of truth in that statement along with a lot of hyperbole.

The United States has finally accused China and Russia of stealing data that threatens the economic security of the US. Up until now the US has been ignoring the problem that has been happening for years. Just as with most things that threaten ones health, ignoring it only means it is harder to manage once you acknowledge the problem.

If you just look at the desktop, Microsoft’s once utterly dominant browser hasn’t yet slid below 50 percent, though the trend has been down, down, down for years. In the overall market, which includes the burgeoning mobile browser segment, Redmond’s even less relevant than the dismal desktop numbers suggest.
