Free new PC security suite forgets the Anti-virus

A new security suite by Thoughtful Software Ltd does not inclde ant-virus protection because apparently virues are not considered a security issue. I installed this software on my computer only to find it raveged by viruses. llost several months work, and had to find a new job.. I wonder how bad things would have been had I not installed the software.
