Hillary Clinton is the oatmeal raisin cookie of the Democratic Party. She is forced into blue faces everywhere, called “inevitable†despite the fact that not a single primary vote has been cast. And if the Clinton Machine somehow manages to win the Democratic nomination, if the primary voters are too divided between the chocolate chips and peanut butter chunks of the world to prevent the selection of the candidate that more of them actively hate than anyone else, the donkey will have signed its own death warrant. Barring a Dean Scream-like disaster for another Democrat, Hillary is the only legitimate contender on that side of the aisle who will cause her party to lose. Democrats don’t want to vote for her. Republicans would fight through hail, sleet, and snow to vote against her. In the dessert-baking world, that would be called a recipe for disaster.
Agreed. I don’t really like Hillary. She doesn’t inspire me at all. At least not yet, and since I’ve had a good 15 years getting to know here, I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon.
And what’s more, maybe this is just me, but I don’t want to see another Clinton in the White House. We need some new ideas and that means a whole new gaggle of talent. Not the old Clinton guard following HRC in. No thanks.
So then, on a related note, what cookie is Barack? How about Edwards? Kucinich?
