Poll: Obama Up By 10 In North Carolina

0

American Research Group shows the race tightening by one point since last week.

April 14 – 15
Obama – 52%
Clinton – 41%

April 26 – 27
Obama – 52%
Clinton – 42%

Here’s how those numbers break…

Register Dems – 83% of voters
Obama – 51%
Clinton – 43%

Unaffiliated – 17% of voters
Obama – 58%
Clinton – 35%

So yet another poll shows Obama leading among independents by a hefty margin.

Also, more demo info via Political Wire:

Clinton leads among white voters 57% to 36% and Obama leads among African American voters 83% to 13%. Obama leads 60% to 34% among likely primary voters under 50 and Clinton leads 55% to 39% among likely primary voters 50 and older.

No big surprises here and all signs point to a win in North Carolina for Obama. But if that doesn’t happen, well, then the story that Hillary can still win will become even more “real.”
