Rasmussen: Obama Maintains 4 Point Lead

0

Obama – 48%
McCain – 44%

Absolutely no change from yesterday.

The 5 day:
06/17/2008: McCain – 44%, Obama – 48%
06/16/2008: McCain – 44%, Obama – 48%
06/15/2008: McCain – 43%, Obama – 49%
06/14/2008: McCain – 43%, Obama – 49%
06/13/2008: McCain – 44%, Obama – 49%

Rasmussen also reveals how voters perceive the two candidates…

Fifty-three percent (53%) of voters see McCain as politically conservative, down four points from a week ago. Sixty-nine percent (69%) see Obama as politically liberal, up two points since last week.

So McCain is definitely seen as a more independent candidate, so that will that help him with independent voters…but will it be enough in a year when there’s so much discontent for Republican leadership?

More tomorrow…
