Between his “Bomb, bomb, Iran” comments and now a recent joke about hoping that cigarettes kill them, McCain is something a sophomoric side that isn’t befitting of a Commander in Chief.

From Wash Post:

Responding to a question about a survey that shows increased exports to Iran, mainly from cigarettes, McCain said, “Maybe that’s a way of killing them.”

He quickly caught himself, saying “I meant that as a joke” as his wife, Cindy, poked him in the back.

Joke or not, it’s in poor taste and it’s just the type of “off the cuff” comment that got Bush in trouble time and time again. Remember “smoke em out” or “wanted dead or alive” or “bring em on”? Remember all that juvenile nonsense? Of course you do, and personally I want to see none of it coming out of our next leader’s mouth.

Moving on…
