Rasmussen: Obama Leads By 3, 3

0

With leaners
Obama – 48%
McCain – 45%

Without leaners
Obama – 45%
McCain – 42%

While Gallup shows a 9 point lead, Rasmussen’s numbers tighten. McCain gets a net 2 point gain in each today.

Here’s why…

Tracking results are based upon nightly telephone interviews with 1,000 Likely Voters and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. Following his speech in Berlin, Obama enjoyed two very strong nights of polling on Thursday and Friday. His lead grew to six-points for results released on Saturday. However, polling on Saturday and Sunday showed the candidates much closer with single-day results similar to polling from before the Berlin speech.
