McCain – 42%

And now the fourth straight day with no discernible change. Obama has lead by 2 in both polls, although both men drop a point in the w/o leaners portion. Still, the results remain the same.

As mentioned yesterday, Obama isn’t having as much luck attracting Republicans as McCain is having with Democrats…

Obama is supported by 12% of Republicans while McCain earns the vote from 16% of Democrats. The two candidates are essentially even among unaffiliated voters.

Obama is now viewed favorably by 56% of the nation’s voters, McCain by 55%. Twenty percent (20%) of Republicans offer a favorable opinion of Obama while 29% of Democrats say the same about McCain.
