Rasmussen: McCain And Obama Stay Tied

All tied up again as nearly every daily tracking poll shows Obama regaining the lead.

However, Rasmussen reveals some interesting data on taxes…

Forty-eight percent (48%) believe that taxes will go up if Obama is elected while 26% believe the same will happen if McCain is elected. The gap is smaller among lower-income voters.

Polls have consistently found that voters see tax hikes as bad for the economy. Three-out-of-five believe that voters should have the right to approve all tax increases.

So if this many people think tax increases are bad for the economy, then why is Obama owning the argument?
