Obama – 50%
McCain – 45%

McCain gains one back today, but Obama has been at 50% for 4 straight days now. So with only 36 days left until the election, one has to wonder what will be able to shift these numbers significantly enough in McCain’s favor since the only time he has really led is after the convention and the Palin announcement.

Also, the numbers suggest that “Security Moms” are breaking evenly for the two candidates, and that’s not good news for McCain…

Obama leads by fifteen points among women but trails by six among men.

Obama and McCain are essentially even among White Women, a constituency that George W. Bush won by eleven points four years ago.

Obama is now supported by 12% of Republicans, McCain by 11% of Democrats.

The 5 day:
09/29/2008: McCain – 45%, Obama – 50%
09/28/2008: McCain – 44%, Obama – 50%
09/27/2008: McCain – 44%, Obama – 50%
