Despite blazing temperatures, last year’s Mile High Music Festival was an unmitigated success. Initially planned to take place in City Park, the festival was forced to move to Commerce City due to the fact the Denver Zoo was nearby and no one wanted to see how the baboons behaved when Tom Petty fired up “Don’t Do Me Like That.”

Yet the more removed locale– Dick’s Sporting Goods Park– turned out to be mobbed with concertgoers attending the multiple stages, so the powers that be decided to do it again.

This year’s headliners are Tool, Widespread Panic, and The Fray. Other performers include Ani DiFranco, Ben Harper & Relentless 7, India.Arie, 3Oh!3, John Butler and tons more.
