Well, get ready for the clowns to pitch a tent at the Pepsi Center. Cirque du Soleil is back! Less carny and more Cats, the Montreal-based Circus of the Sun will entertain the denizens of the Mile High City with “Kooza”, a new show that: “combines two circus traditions – acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful melange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.”

I much prefer that to the circus where they just kind of sit around staring at the walls and occasionally take sips of a 42 oz. Mr. Pibb they’ve been nursing for six hours to make it look like they’re doing something. Yes, I am talking about the train station and no, it’s not technically a circus. Although it can provide free entertainment while you wait for your reservation in LoDo.

The tickets will be between $31.50-$215. I’m assuming the top price includes some private time with one of the contortionists.

To learn about what they do! Like a clinic! Geez. Get your mind out of the gutter.
