Aziz Ansari Performs at Punch Line on Monday

There are two kinds of people in this world—those who like “Human Giant,” and those who hate fun. OK, that’s probably a bit unfair, but from my biased perspective, the sketch comedy group is one of the best out there. One-third of the “Human Giant” team will perform in San Francisco on Monday when Aziz Ansari brings his stand-up act to the Punch Line Comedy Club.

If you’re not familiar with Ansari from “Human Giant” (to which I say, shame on you!), you might have caught him as Tom Haverford on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation.” If you’re still not convinced that Ansari’s sufficiently LOL-worthy, I advise you to check out the video posted on the SFstandup website. (I’d also suggest watching those aforementioned shows, but I’m starting to feel really bossy.)

Ansari’s performance is a one-night only deal, but you two have two shows to choose from—7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $22.50, and don’t forget that two-drink minimum. Look, I know it’s not cheap, but can you really put a price on laughter? I thought not.
