Renowned for annually featuring the best of DC punk, post-punk and indie rock, the free outdoor concerts at Tenleytown‘s Fort Reno Park are something of a summertime tradition here in Washington and, after weeks of waiting, we’re pleased to announce that the festival’s organizers have gone live with the final (well, sort of) schedule for this year’s shows.

As always, each show kicks-off at 7:15 pm and wraps up by 9:30. The driving force behind the annual series is Amanda MacKaye, sister of Minor Threat/Fugazi/Evens member and de facto founder of the StraightXEdge movement, Ian MacKaye. In keeping with that ethos, “glass bottles, alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited at all times.”

But, hey, it is a public park and right next to a school, Wilson High, after all, so we can live with it. And pets are welcome in lieu of any illicit substances.
