You might know him from his acting work in John Cameron Mitchell’s “Shortbus” or from singles like “Can’t Have It All” and “Half-Boyfriend.” You might know her from her YouTube videos (“The Vicodin Song” is still a big hit) or her song “Say It’s Possible,” featured on “Private Practice.” Or hey, you might not know Jay Brannan and Terra Naomi at all.

But you should, because these singer-songwriters are two of the best out there. If you’re into songs that give you that warm-on-the-inside feeling—while simultaneously making you really, really sad, they’re your best bet. And you can see them both in one of their first joint performances when they perform at Bottom of the Hill on July 24.

I can’t think of a better place to see these two. (If you need more convincing, check out my earlier post on why Bottom of the Hill is awesome.) Tickets are $12 if you purchase them now and $14 at the door. My advice is to buy in advance: first, because it might sell out, and second, because that’s $2 that can go toward your nachos.
