DC’s coolest place of worship/rock venue, the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue, is sponsoring a showing of the Coen Brothers‘ cult classic, The Big Lebowski, at, of all places, the Capitol Skyline Hotel pool in Southwest on Wednesday, July 22nd.

For ten bucks, you can grab a flotation device and live it up Karl Hungus-style (pictured) or watch from the sidelines with a complimentary White Russian in hand. But leave your own Little Lebowski Urban Achievers at home for this one…it’s strictly 21 and up.

You can get more info, tickets and inside jokes here on the Sixth and I homepage, but, in the meantime, here’s what they have to say on the event:

Calling all Dudes, Walters, and Maudes for a “Dive-In” movie screening of The Big Lebowski at the Capitol Skyline Hotel. Relax in the pool or in the comfy furniture surrounding it, White Russian in-hand, and enjoy a screening of the cult classic. Come dressed as your favorite character for our costume contest. Prizes, water bowling, and other “what-have-yous” will make this evening a night to remember, dude.
