loudThough it doesn’t open in New York and LA until August 14th, DC area audiophiles will have first crack at documentarian Davis Guggenheim‘s (An Inconvenient Truth) latest effort, It Might Get Loud.

The film follows the great guitarists of three decades – Led Zeppelin‘s Jimmy Page, U2‘s The Edge and The White Stripes‘ Jack White – as they talk shop on their instruments of choice and try to reconcile their differing musical sensibilities to make (not so) sweet, sweet music together.

It Might Get Loud
will make its DC debut on Monday, July 27th at Chevy Chase‘s historic Avalon Theatre (5612 Connecticut Avenue, NW) and will be followed by a Q&A with none other than Davis Guggenheim himself. Tickets will run you 50 bucks, but they’ll tax deductible as all proceeds will benefit metro area mental health crisis center, The Woodley House.
