Dejha Colantuono Continues Solo Tour in San Francisco

I’ll level with you—I had never heard of Dejha Colantuono until I read a post by my editor, Mike Showalter. Since then, I’ve listened to as much of her music as I could get my hands on. She’s got one of those unique genre-bending sounds that really grabs my attention: is she indie rock? Is she pop? Is she soul? I don’t know! It’s incredibly intriguing. Also, Colantuono has a really cool name, and we all know how shallow it is when it comes to things like that.

But I digress. The point is, Colantuono is coming to San Francisco tomorrow for the second stop on her short solo tour. She’ll be promoting her new album, Tea & Vodka, which just released earlier this week. I advise you to check out her music—either her new solo work or her appearances with Rotten Apples and Ragazza. If you like what you hear, you can catch Colantuono at the Beale Street Bar at 9 p.m. tomorrow night.

Not the traditional venue, but then, she’s not the traditional artist. Tickets are only $5 and you can get a pretty reasonable meal while you’re there. Sounds like a solid night out to me.

Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances Dejha will be unable to perform tonight as
