DC Beer Week 2009: The Complete Line-Up

0

Billing itself as “a week-long celebration of beer culture in the nations capital,” the first ever DC Beer Week will kick-off its six-day tribute to intoxication on Sunday, August 16th and sponsor events at some of Washington’s best known bars, clubs and restaurants.

Running through Friday, August 21st, Beer Week will start off with a mini-festival of local music at the Rock & Roll Hotel, host brewery-sponsored parties at spots like Asylum and Palace of Wonders, and finally conclude at Nationals Park, as the Nats take on (appropriately enough) the Milwaukee Brewers.

With more than a dozen participating breweries and 25 venues on the week’s agenda, it looks like Brew at the Zoo 2009 is facing some stiff competition.

A final line-up of events has yet to be fully confirmed, but the tentative schedule follows below. For updates and/or changes, check out DC Beer Week on Facebook. And you haven’t had your fill after Friday, be sure to check out DC Restaurant Week, which starts up on Monday, August 24th.
