One-time presidential candidate and former DNC chairman, Howard Dean, will talk up the hot button issue of health care reform Thursday, August 14th at local bookstore/coffeehouse/C-SPAN 3 mainstay, Politics and Prose.

Dean, who was a practicing physician up until assuming the governorship of Vermont in 1991, will be there to promote Howard Dean’s Prescription For Real Health Care Reform – his recently released extended essay that “counters the hollow arguments and rhetorical charges of a socialist agenda, and looks at rising health care costs and their impact on individuals and small businesses.” Think of it as an anti-town hall for the forward thinking (yet heavily insured) Chevy Chase set.

The discussion will start at 4 pm and be followed by a book signing. For more information, visit: http://www.politics-prose.com/.
