Over two months after his sudden death on June 25th, Michael Joseph Jackson will be buried at  LA’s Forest Lawn Cemetery in a private service.  According to published reports, Jackson will be buried in a specially built mausoleum at 10am on what would have been The King of Pops 51st birthday.  No word on the exact people that will be attending the service, but it is expected to be close family and friends.
Joe Jackson announced the details, adding that after the service in LA he (and Latoya) will jet  to Vegas for an MJ tribute at the Palms Hotel later that day, a fundraiser. The tribute will include Usher, Wayne Newton and The Osmonds.  Apparently other’s will perform (more pop worthy others I would assume), but we will have to await.  Michael will be honored with a star from the Brenden Theatre at the Palms Resort and Casino and Joe will receive it on his behalf.  What a dad.
Although is burial was going to happen sometime, and we were all starting to get used to the fact that he is dead, this final honoring marks the last event of his life. Â This, is really, the end.
If you want to mark the occasion of MJ’s birthday, there are many bars and clubs doing MJ tribute nights across the US. Â The Red Room in West Covina, CA is having a birthday party for Michael, where people are invited to attend but must wear white or black, or white and black. Â
