Drag performer Peaches Christ is a San Francisco institution: her Midnight Mass film series has screened some of the greatest cult films of all time (“Showgirls,” “Pink Flamingos,” “Heathers”) with a bevy of celeb appearances. Alas, Midnight Mass is coming to a close, and tomorrow and Saturday mark the end of the 12th (and final) season.

The good news is that the film and guest are both treats. Prepare yourself for “Elvira: Mistress of the Dark” with a live appearance (and performance!) by Elvira herself. Those of us who grew up on Elvira won’t want to miss the opportunity to watch the classic—yes, I said classic—movie alongside the camp horror icon. And, of course, Peaches herself! The shows are at midnight, naturally, at the Bridge Theater. You can buy tickets on Peaches’ website.

And don’t worry, Peaches Christ isn’t going anywhere. Midnight Mass as a series may be over, but she’ll still be screening movies from time to time. Also, don’t forget to catch her debut feature length film, “All About Evil,” which hits theaters next year. (Full disclosure: I was one of many local extras used in the movie, so I’m a wee bit biased.)
