On Sunday, August 29th, which would have been Michael Jackson’s 51st birthday, Lee is planning a Brooklyn block party to mark Michael Jackson’s birthday, in Fort Greene Park, with DJ Spinna offering music from Jackson’s entire 45-year career.
Spike Lee directed the video of Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” which was controversial
Update: Spike Lee’s birthday bash has been moved to Prospect Park, because of fears that Fort Greene Park would be too small for the expected attendance.
