American Idiot Director and Producer to Speak at Berkeley Rep

0

I’m going to go ahead and operate under the assumption that you’re all as excited about the upcoming “American Idiot” musical as I am. And how could you not be? This is one of the biggest theater events to hit Berkeley in years! Also, Green Day! Also, the people who brought you “Spring Awakening”!

Speaking of which, “American Idiot” director Michael Mayer and producer Tom Hulce—who previously collaborated on “Spring Awakening”—will be appearing at the Berkeley Rep’s Roda Theatre on September 21. Chad Jones will interview the pair as part of the Page to Stage series, which seeks to give audiences a chance to see the behind-the-scenes aspects of current Berkeley Rep productions.

The best part? Tickets are free. Seating is limited, though, so show up early. The talk begins at 7 p.m., with doors open at 6 p.m. And remember to keep checking back here for more information about “American Idiot.” You know you’re pumped.
