For DIY and craft fans across the city, the dwindling days of summer can only mean one thing: The Renegade Craft Fair is near! Now in it’s 7th year, The Renegade Craft Fair provides a weekend of crafty activities and a one-stop shop for your shopping needs.
Over 300 vendors from across the nation will descend upon Division St to showcase their wares. You’ll find all kinds of products at the fair, from housewares to bath products, clothing, and stationary. Renegade Craft Fair gives you the unique option of shopping in person for personal and handcrafted items, meeting the actual artist who creates your goods, so make sure to stock up and do holiday shopping early this year. And it will cost you nothing to check out the booths, because admission is totally free. Although I’m sure you’ll find an item or two to pick up while you browse.
There will also be free raffles of various craft publications, an interactive booth where you can create your own DIY projects, and a photo booth, which gives you the perfect excuse to buy something cute to model in front of the camera.
The 7th Renegade Craft Fair is this weekend, September 12th and 13th, from 11am-7pm. It’s located on Division St between Damen Ave and Paulina St. If you ride your bike there, stop by Division and Winchester for free bike valet service. Admission is free.
