Arlington‘s Synetic Theater will follow their current production A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Rosslyn Spectrum with a masterwork especially ripe for the month of October: Dracula.

Following a praised run at the Kennedy Center, they’ll be picking up the highly choreographed adaption of Bram Stoker’s iconic vampire tale from October 16th to November 15th, 2009.

More exciting still, they’ll be following their dual October 31st showings of the horror classic with the Vampire’s Ball — the metro area’s only high style Halloween gala. The Synetic’s resident composer Konstantine Lortkipanidze will be on hand to personally DJ the evening’s masquerade, which will feature a costume contest and a runway show of a few Dracula-inspired fashions. (Here come the Briiides…bwa ha ha)

Tickets to the Vampire’s Ball run $75 a piece — $30 of which will count towards a tax-deductible donation to the Synetic. For tickets and more information, check out the production’s homepage here.
