For the past few years friends and I have spoken about going to the apparently really fun and scary Knotts Scary Farms. Why hasn’t our fun and fright night materialized you might ask? Well, deep down I don’t enjoy the idea of paying someone to scare me. Â Fun and scary don’t usually go together for me as my idea of fun, but this year I am getting over it. Â People talk about it like its the best thing ever and I want in. Â I went on a fan website and had a great laugh when I jumped a mile at, well, go and see for yourself, but it was a fun preview of the place. Â It’s time to get into the spirit of fun and fright and candy. Â Halloween is almost here and this tradition is a great way to get into the spirit of fun with friends!
The usually pleasasnt family spot becomes terrifying frights come to life at the Knotts Scary Farms Anaheim, CA location. Â They suggest on the site that due to the popularity and huge crowds, you go on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Â If you go on Friday or Saturday nights, good luck to you. Also, they don’t allow costumes so don’t think you are gonna get into the action. This is not a joke place, they take scaring us super for real.
It’s going on now through October 31. Tickets are pricey, but you can find lots of specials and deals (Last year if you drove a Scion you got in for free. Everyone in the car, too.)
They say its the most fun you will have getting scared. Mwah.
