If you were planning on heading out to dance the night away with Chromeo and Crystal Castles like we suggested earlier this week, better make a second plan or start looking now on Craigslist for a ticket. The show at the Congress tonight is completely sold out.
Still wanting a night full of music on the eve of Halloween? There are some other stellar options to choose from in the city tonight.
The timeless Bob Dylan will be at the Aragon for two nights starting tonight. Tickets are $50 (not including fees) and doors open at 6:30pm, so get there early. Head up towards the Aragon even earlier, and walk a few blocks (or one train stop north) to Argyle and grab some tasty pho, a wonderful rich and warm Vietnamese noodle soup, to warm you up on this chilly fall evening.
Also in town tonight are the Monsters of Folk (pictured above), the supergroup of members of Bright Eyes, My Morning Jacket and M. Ward. Although the tickets are steep ($60 a pop, and that includes fees), the band is giving one dollar for each ticket sold to local charities, so not only do you get a night of wonderful music in a spectacular setting (the illustrious Auditorium Theatre), you also are helping out some great causes.
