Multiple studies have been conducted throughout the years which suggest that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  The hordes of people waiting in line to get into Snooze each morning will tell you the same.

Located in the historic ballpark district in the shadows of Coors Field, Snooze consistently has a line out the door during peak times.  Drivers passing by the corner of Larimer and Park Avenue West can set their watches by the length of the line coming out the front door on a daily basis.

Serving both breakfast and lunch, Snooze offers a menu different from your typical greasy breakfast diner, with a light and breezy atmosphere to match.  According to the people at Snooze, the decor is meant to portray a “Jetsons meets Happy Days” feeling.

For breakfast, Snooze offers a wide variety of options.  Nothing on the Snooze menu can really be considered “typical” breakfast diner fare.  Take for instance their Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, generously topped with their unique tomato gravy, served with their delicious house hash with a side of either toast or tortillas.  The tomato gravy adds one of those very unique flavors that Snooze is known for.  The BBQ Pork Benny is another unique dish that you won’t find at your typical neighborhood pancake house.   This dish consists of Niman Ranch pulled pork in a homemade BBQ sauce, topped with poached eggs, smoked cheddar hollandaise, and diced pickles all atop homemade corn bread.  A sure treat for any BBQ lover.  Any pancake lover visiting Snooze will be in paradise after sampling the pancake menu, which includes upside down pineapple pancakes, carrot cake pancakes, and Colorado peach ginger pancakes.

For those looking to wake up a little later than the breakfast crowd, or those who prefer something a little more hearty than breakfast foods, Snooze offers a host of lunch time feasts.  One of the more interesting dishes is the Snooze Style Burger, which consists of a Niman Ranch all natural beef burger topped with an egg cooked any style, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and smoked cheddar hollandaise on their house made English muffin.  Or try the “Bay of Pigs” which is house pulled pork and hickory smoked ham, provolone cheese, diced house pickles, mayo and mustard on a Udi’s Hoagie Roll.

Nursing a serious hangover?  Looking for a bit of the ol’ “hair of the dog”?  Snooze has you covered.  As soon as you walk in the front door, their bar serves as a guiding light to those who need a little “direction” after a night of going a bit too hard.

Whether you are looking for a delicious breakfast, lunch, or simply a cocktail, Snooze is one of the best options in downtown Denver.  Just be sure to plan ahead for the time you will spend waiting in line during peak times, and especially on weekend mornings.  But hey, with a line that that, Snooze must be doing something right, and they will continue to do it for quite some time.

More Info: Snooze is open from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. sharp, every day of the week.
