Chicago's Top Holiday Attractions
Looking for something to do in Chicago during this holiday season? Here’s a round up of the best attractions in the Windy City!
- Blackhawks games. Yes, really! Let’s face it. The Bulls stink. The Bears are officially out of playoff contention, and despite what some Redwings fans may try to tell you, Chicago is a hockey town. There’s no better place to be this winter than near the ice at the United Center! And if you can’t make it to a game? Head to one of the Official Blackhawks Bars!
- Christmas Around the World. This yearly tradition at the Museum of Science and Industry grows each year! You know how peaceful it is to sit in your living room and just stare at the lights on your tree? Imagine looking at 50+ trees, celebrating other holiday traditions all over the world!
- Holiday windows at Macy’s. This is probably the best tradition Chicago has had when it comes to the holiday season. Although Macy’s doesn’t make as big a fuss over the windows as Marshall Field’s used to, they are still a sight to see!
- FREE ice skating at Millennium Park! Forget the frozen lakes and ponds. Stay on solid ground and take in some laps at the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink at the park! Even if you don’t own a pair of skates, it only costs $10 to rent them.
