San Antonio's Not So Silent Night is today, tickets still available

The December 15th show at San Antonio’s Hemisfair Park features Blue October, The Fray, Boys Like Girls, 3Oh!3, Jay Sean, Jason Derulo & Owl City. Gates open at 3:30pm. The first band goes on stage at 4pm. The concert will conclude by 11pm.

The Fray is a Grammy Award-nominated four-piece piano rock band with Christian influences. Formed in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade and Joe King, the Denver-based group released their debut album How to Save a Life in 2005, which helped the band achieve mainstream success. The band is best known for the song “How to Save a Life”, which charted in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 and was also a top 5 single in Canada, Australia, Ireland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The Fray also found national success with the song “Over My Head (Cable Car)” which became a top ten hit in the United States. How to Save a Life was certified double platinum by the RIAA, and was also certified platinum in Australia, Canada and the UK.

Boys Like Girls is an American rock/punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, who gained mainstream recognition when they released their self-titled debut album Boys Like Girls. They were the co-headliners with Good Charlotte for the Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour 2008 that toured across the U.S.

Blue October is a rock band originally from Houston, Texas. The band was formed in 1995 and currently consists of Justin Furstenfeld (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums, percussion), Ryan Delahoussaye (violin/viola, mandolin, piano, backing vocals), C.B. Hudson (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Matt Noveskey (bass guitar, backing vocals).

HemisFair Park was built to host the 1968 World’s Fair. The park features cascading waterfalls and fountains, lushly landscaped areas, historic buildings, children’s playground, and the world Famous San Antonio landmark “The Tower of the Americas”.

HemisFair Park is located in downtown San Antonio adjacent to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Parking is available off of Bowie Street.
