There have been a lot of Top 10 lists of the decade of 2000 to 2009, but not too many top 10 New York live theater. Let us remedy that with a contest.
Go to the New York Theater Twitter account, become a follower if you are not already, and then write “RT @newyorktheater” and the best play or musical in New York that opened sometime between January 1, 2000 and December 16, 2009 (now). Then either in the 100 or so characters you have left on Twitter, or in an e-mail to me at JMandell@culturemob.com, explain why your choice was the best of the decade.
The responses will be placed in the order in which they are received, and then winners will be selected through a number generated at Random.org.
The prizes come courtesy of MCC Theater and 59E59 Theater.
Contest ends Thursday, December 17th at 1 p.m.
Update: The contest is now closed. Please click for the results on Favorite New York Theater for the Decade, The Results.
