Mega superstar Tim McGraw coming to Seattle
When most big country music acts come to town they play the Tacoma Dome. Seattle isn’t exactly known as a bastion of country music. But when Tim McGraw comes to town he’ll take over Key Arena in Seattle and you can bet fans will flock from all over to see one of the biggest country superstars of all time.
This tour – the Southern Voice Tour – will be in support of his latest studio album, Southern Voice, released in October 2009. It’s a solo tour and while it may not be as big as his tours with wife and fellow superstar Faith Hill, it’ll do the job. McGraw and Hill’s Soul2Soul tours in 2006 and 2007 was, according to Wikipedia, “the highest grossing tour in country music history, and one of the top five among all genres of music.”
The concert in Key Arena takes place Friday, May 21, 2010 and tickets go on sale Saturday, February 27th. Key Arena and the Seattle Center want you to be able to buy presale tickets, however, so are offering the password SOUTHERN that’s good until 10 pm tonight.
Lady Antebellum and Love and Theft will open the show.
