Henry V is waiting in the wings as the next production of the Seattle Shakespeare Company, and once more (as always, really) there will be a Pay-What-You-Will preview performance.

Opening night for the production is Friday, April 16, 2010 and the Pay-What-You-Will preview is Wednesday, April 14th.

“Henry V is the quintessential saga about the creation of a band of brothers who triumph against all odds. Newly crowned, King Henry faces his first major challenge against the mighty French army. Henry’s compulsive decision to let loose the dogs of war leaves him and his troops outnumbered. Facing sure disaster, Henry rallies his troops with a St. Crispin’s Day speech to prepare for one last heroic battle.”

The play starts at 7:30 pm, but you can show up at the Will Call window starting at 6:30 pm to get Pay-What-You-Will tickets. These are given out on a first come, first served basis. The Seattle Shakespeare Company performs in the Center House Theater on the grounds of the Seattle Center. Get there early, as tickets go fast.
