In the spring a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love. Or so said Lord Tennyson. Which makes this time of year the perfect time to stage the play, The 13th of Paris. Which is what the Seattle Public Theatre at the Bathhouse is doing.
The play runs from May 21st through June 13th, with showings every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, with a matinee on Sundays at 2:00 pm.
For those who want a fairly significant discount on tickets, a preview showing will be held on Thursday, May 20th for only $18.
In this charming and theatrical romantic comedy, Vincent stands up his girlfriend at a café and travels to an apartment in Paris, carrying only a suitcase filled with the surprising love letters of his late grandparents. When he begins receiving romantic advice from a dapper ghost in a pinstripe suit, he begins his real journey towards listening to his heart. Is the love we imagine possible in this crazy, modern world?
The historic structure of The Bathhouse Theatre is located on Green Lake at 7312 W. Green Lake Drive North. The Box Office is open from 12 pm to 5 pm, Wednesday through Saturday and tickets are also available by phone or online.
