Food Lust Farm Dinner Benefits Cascade Harvest

0

Do you have Food Lust?

Then do I have a party for you! Cascade Harvest Coalition

Cascade Harvest is throwing their fifth annual Farm Dinner Bash. Where else can you be fed by several of Seattle’s most celebrated restaurants all in one sitting?

The  line up includes some of my personal favorites, including Boat Street Café, emmer & rye, Elliot Bay Cafe, TASTE at SAM, Tilikum Place Cafe, Macrina Bakery, Andaluca, and more.

This year’s event is being held at Willie Green’s Organic Farm in Monroe. Beautiful Washington State Farm Country is less than an hour’s drive from the city, so get a car pool together and head out for a delightful evening of food and fun: Cocktails and appetizers, followed by a multi-course sit down dinner including wine, silent auction and live Cuban music. I hear tell of a Bottle Brawl and Dessert Dash too, where tables compete for premium wines and the dessert of their choice, so don’t forget your running shoes as well as your dancing shoes.

Jamie Oliver helped raise awareness about the state of our food systems on a national level, but did you know Cascade Harvest has been working in the Seattle area to connect consumers to farmers for over ten years? If you have stopped by a farm stand, or bought fresh produce at a local farmer’s market, chances are Cascade Harvest was behind connecting you to that locally grown food.

So join the revolution here in our own back yard! This event makes it easy and fun to support your local farmers. See you there!

Tickets are $85 and available at the door or call 206-632-0606
