Over the Rainbow! Seattle Pride Parade, Sunday, June 27th
It’s almost time for the Annual Seattle Pride Parade! This year’s theme is “Over the Rainbow,” as the Emerald City celebrates Seattle’s LGBT Community on Sunday, June 27th. Beginning at 11AM at the corner of Union Street and 4th Avenue, the parade will travel up 4th Avenue towards Denny Way and the Seattle Center, where Pride Fest will take place. The Parade leading up to the Festival will be about 2 1/2Â hours long.Â Look forward to vibrant floats, dazzling costumes, dancing, music, beauty and fun!
Some important notes: There will be stationed personnel toÂ help assure the safe and orderly flow of the Parade participants, as well as ADA viewing stations at Westlake Plaza and the east side of 4th Avenue at Bell St. Pedestrian crossing at Denny WayÂ will beÂ restricted to the west side of 4th Ave only. Get your colors and costumes ready!
Pride FestÂ at the Seattle CenterÂ will be full ofÂ live music, shopping, artistry, food and more! Some of the highlights include DJ Colby B, Kimberley Locke, Julie Goldman, ShannelÂ and the cast ofÂ Le Faux. For more information about Seattle Pride and how you can get involved, visit PRIDE.
