This coming Thursday, June 24th, the Junior Board of the Atlanta Humane Society is shopping for a great cause! From 6 to 8 pm, come to Tootsie’s at Around Lenox to support the AHS and the Junior Board, and all the wonderful animals they rescue, care for and for whom they work to find loving homes.

Chocolate Pink will be providing champagne and cupcakes, you can shop your little heart out, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to the AHS. To confirm your attendance, call 404.688.1466 or email

The Junior Board of the Atlanta Humane Society, also known as the 1873 Society Club, was created in October 2009. It is a group of young professional and philanthropic women dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support the mission of the Atlanta Humane Society. The AHS and SPCA was founded in 1873 and is the oldest, private, non-profit animal welfare organization in the city. All funds raised in 2010 and 2011 will be used to care for dogs rescued from dog-fighting rings.
