The time has finally arrived for Brad Paisley’s free concert in Austin…and your boat is your ticket. There will be no land access to the event that is being held this Friday and Saturday, July 9-10, on Lake Travis.

2000 rafting spots are available at a first come first serve basis starting Friday morning at 7 am. With thousands expected to join in the 2-day water/music celebration you’ll want to get there early. Local bands will play from noon-7:30 pm on Friday in a battle of the bands. The winner will get to open for the main event which kicks off Saturday. Guest artists (including Jerrod Niemann, Lee Brice, Joanna Smith and Matt Stillwell) will take to the main stage from noon-5 pm, with Brad Paisley taking over at 5.

Be sure to visit the AquaPalooza site to register. For more details including FAQ, anchoring info, food and drinks, etc. check out 98.1 KVET’s AquaPalooza guide.

In the meantime enjoy Brad Paisley’s summer hit, “Water,” which should get you in the mood for the occasion.
