Family Fun at the Colorado Renaissance Festival
Have you or your children ever wished to live in the times of knights, pirates, or princesses? If so, you will definitely want to check out the Colorado Renaissance Festival  (30 minutes south of Denver in town of Larkspur).Â
My family hasn’t been for a few years and we were curious to see what had changed. All of us were very impressed at the new acts, including carillon bells , and the retention of old ones like the ever favorite jousting events. Young families will enjoy the petting zoo, pony rides, or something a little more exotic like camel and elephant rides. Older children will enjoy the many comedy acts, medieval carnival rides, as well as the ever-insulting Vegetable Vengeance “Tomato Man”. You can even rent costumes so you and your family can become part of Renaissance culture!
