Sublime with Rome plays the Center in Dallas on 7/28

A newborn cultural phenomenon approaches the Lonestar State: Sublime with Rome on July 28th at the Center.  Who, you’re probably asking, are Sublime with Rome?  They’re only the founding members of Sublime, Eric Wilson and Bud  Gaugh, with brand-new frontman, Rome Ramirez.  It promises to be a concert to remember, given that the line-up also features Matisyahu and Dirtyheads.

Tickets can be purchased here, and the show kicks off at 6 pm.

Already received with great acclaim, Sublime with Rome is blessed with a winning combination of experience, chemistry, and the refreshing perspective that comes with a new line-up.  The set list is sure to include some of their best-known hits, as well as new material inspired by the youngest component of the band as a legacy to former vocalist and guitarist, Bradley Nowell.  Sublime had a fluid, comfortable groove, and one can only imagine the new style that will emerge with the fresh blood of a brand-new member.  Come enjoy a night of reggae punk , a blending of the new and the old, sure to result in a sublime listening experience (get it? get it?) and a well-spent Wednesday evening.

Matisyahu is an American Hasidic Jewish reggae musician, best known for blending traditional Jewish themes with Reggae, rock and hip hop beat-boxing sounds. He had a top 40 hit with his single “King Without a Crown,” and has worked with Bill Laswell and reggae producers Sly & Robbie.

The Dirty Heads is a reggae rock band from Southern California, and have toured the U.S. multiple times with bands such as 311, Pepper, Kottonmouth Kings, Unwritten Law, besides current touring partners Matisyahu and Sublime with Rome. The Dirty Heads were among the first bands featured on YouTube’s Raw Session.
