Eat. Drink. Be Cherry! That is the slogan for this year’s Cherry Creek North Food & Wine fest happening August 20th and 21st in the heart of Cherry Creek North. Featuring free culinary demo and cooking classes, an opening night VIP party, and a Grand Tasting, this second annual event is a fundraiser for a good cause. With event prices ranging from $40 to $100, it will be money well-spent.
Produced by the Cherry Creek Arts Festival (CCAF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, the Cherry Creek North Food & Wine will generate funds to help benefit the CCAF’s year-round art education and outreach programs which are dedicated to providing access to art experiences and supporting art education in Colorado.
The fest will be kicked-off this year by local Celebrity Chef, Elise Wiggins, Executive Chef of Panzano, who will be preparing delicious samples live for the VIP opening party Friday night, August 20th. This is followed by “exciting, educational and entertaining culinary demonstrations” on Saturday afternoon which will feature a slate of local chefs displaying their skills and culinary knowledge. The CCNFW will close Saturday night with The Grand Tasting described as “the signature event of the weekend and features numerous Cherry Creek North restaurant tasting opportunities, open-bar wine and spirits stations, and an entertaining live chef demonstration by Celebrity Chef Elise Wiggins.”
