1)      Horseback Riding – Sombrero Ranches:  You can enjoy a variety of different riding experiences from short rides to long rides that include a good old-western steak cookout.
    

2)      Ghost Tours –Stanley Hotel:  The Stanley Hotel (made famous in Stephen King’s Novel “The Shining”) is famous for its ghost stories.  Here is your chance to explore the hotel, learn about the ghosts, and see the haunted rooms. 

3)      Fishing at a Trout PondTrout Haven Ranch:  A fishing experience guaranteed to please.  This trout pond is stocked with fish, so no one leaves without success.  You only pay for the size of fish you catch.

4)      Biking in the Mountains – Estes Park Mountain Shop:  There are beautiful trails in the mountains of Estes just begging to be biked on.  Rentals include Peapod Trailers and Half Wheeler Tag-A-Longs (for the little ones). 

5)      Mountain Amusement Rides – Fun City:  The giant slide will be the first thing that catches your eye.  Fun City has amusement rides everyone will enjoy, and beautifully landscaped miniature golf courses. 

6)      Exploring the MuseumThe Estes Park Museum:  Visit the Estes Museum to learn more about this historical town and the people in it.  Free, but donations are welcomed.

 7)      Movie Watching at a Historic  Theater – Historic Park Theatre:  Make your own history watching current movies in the OLDEST theater west of the Mississippi! 

8)      Riding in the Sky - Estes Park Aerial Tramway:  Always a family favorite.  Ride the tramway up the mountain.  There are a series of trails to hike, and chipmunks and birds to feed from your hand. (Peanuts can be bought at the gift shop at the top.) 

9)      Water Excitement for Young and Old – Lake Estes Marina:  The marina has boats and kayaks for rent on Lake Estes.  For thrill seekers, how about rafting on the rapids of the Colorado River? Rapid Transit Rafting  

10)   Safari-Type Tours of the Rockies – Rocky Mountain Rush:  Experience the Rocky Mountains on an off-road tour with an experienced guide, take a night tour with ghost stories around a campfire, or take on the challenge of the Treasure Hunt!
