Christina Aguilera is really in the news lately. Â Not only will she be performing at LACMA in September for a fundraiser, but she has a new film coming out called “Burlesque” which will be opening in November. Â Tabloid Prodigy has a clip from the film here.
The singer is going to perform at the LACMA fundraiser on September 25, for the grand opening of the museum’s Lynda and Stewart Resnick Pavilion. Â The space is described by LACMA as “the largest purpose-built, naturally lit, open-plan museum space in the world.” Â The new pavilion is named after the Los Angeles based philanthropists who donated $55 million to the LACMA in 2008 most of which went to the museum’s effort to unify the campus and refurbish and expand it’s gallery spaces. Â The new space is 45,000 square feet and is designed by Renzo Piano. Â The gala fundraiser is open to the public. Individual tickets are $5,000 to $10,000 and tables are available for $25,000 to $100,000.
