Seattle-based metal band UnHailoed will be making a Summer Slaughter tour appearance when the tour rolls in to Studio Seven on Friday, August 20. The all-ages show will help support the release of “Next Chapter.â€
UnHailoed was formed in Auburn, Washington in 2006 by original members Dylan Bennett, Jess Hudson, and James Sumner who were only fifteen-years-old at the time. They’ve since graduated from Auburn High School and are now trying to build a music career. Starting off as a three-piece instrumental band playing original metal songs, they added vocalist Jeremy Ludington in 2008 and bass player Cory Ward in 2009.
The Summer Slaughter Tour is an annual metal tour that features deathcore, death metal, and metalcore bands. The tour originated in 2007 with headliners Necrophagist, and has since continued and become one of the biggest growing metal tours in the world today. This year’s tour features DECAPITATED, The Faceless, All Shall Perish, The Red Chord, Veil Of Maya, Cephalic Carnage, Decrepit Birth, Carnifex, and Animals As Leaders.
Decapitated has gained recognition as one of Europe’s “finest” exponents of technical death metal and has earned an international fan base in the underground music community.
UnHailoed’s new tune “is about a person experiencing turmoil in their life, the realization that a change needs to be made to experience a tranquil life” and is available on iTunes.
The show starts at 3:00 pm.
