Everybody knows that beer is a good thing. On August 30, an even better thing is to head out on to 38 degrees Alehouse and Grill in Alhambra and support a young man who is courageously fighting Leukemia with the help of family and friends.

From Christoher Moran’s Facebook page:

“Christopher Moran is 15 years old. He was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on June 11, 2010. He is undergoing chemotherapy at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and will continue to do so for approximately three years. At the time of diagnosis, Christopher received several blood and platelet transfusions due to severe anemia.

The primary goal of this fundraiser is to assist the Moran family with Christopher’s medical bills and living expenses. One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds will go to Christopher Moran.”

20% of all proceeds from the event will go to Christopher and his family, and there are some killer raffle prizes being offered as well. This Monday, drink to a good cause!

The event is August 30, 4 – 10 PM, at 38 Degrees Alehouse & Grill, 100 West Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801
